Documentation that becomes available after the initial submission through ERAS must be presented to the appropriate entity, i.e. school of medicine, ECFMG, for addition to the ERAS file--please do not send USMLE scores, etc. through the US Mail.

In addition to documentation required by ERAS, LLUMC requires a Medical Board of California Evaluation Status Letter for international medical graduates. Applicants who have completed postgraduate residency training in the United States must also provide a recommendation letter from the program director. Applicants who match through the NRMP based upon an ERAS application will be expected to complete an LLUMC Application Addendum.

Please refer to Eligibility for residency at LLUMC and Documentation requirements for residency at LLUMC for additional information.

Neurological surgery and ophthalmology applications are submitted through the central application service of San Francisco Match.
