Antepartum Care Unit - Unit 3100
If you are experiencing complications with your pregnancy, you will be followed by our high risk obstetric team at our Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic. Our high risk OB team also follows high risk patients who are referred here by doctors who practice at hospitals without facilities to care for mothers experiencing high risk pregnancies.
Occasionally hospitalization becomes necessary for patients who are not yet in labor but are requiring special care before their baby is born. In these situations, care is provided in private or semi-private rooms on unit 3100. Hospitalization may be required for complications of the mother or the baby. If there is a concern about the well-being of your baby, you may receive a consult from our NICU team.
Unit 3100 is also equipped to provide family-centered care for new mothers and babies following delivery in the event that our Mother-Baby unit is full.
