Perinatal Institute


The Perinatal Institute is proud to be a part of Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, the sole children’s hospital for more than 1.2 million of California’s youth (San Bernardino, Riverside, Inyo, and Mono Counties).

The Perinatal Institute offers a comprehensive range of services to our community, all in a family-focused, Christ-centered environment. These services include:

Maternal Fetal Medicine

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Diagnostic Treatment and Research Center (MFM) serve women who are affected by high-risk pregnancies. Patient Education and Support Services

A wide range of classes are provided to inform you and support you as you prepare to give birth and transition into a family.  Click here to learn more. 

Clinic outreach provides several support services for new moms. 

Perinatal Bereavement support groups provide support to our moms who have experienced unexpected pregnancy outcomes.

Total Care Birth Center

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is one of the largest and most advanced neonatal centers in the world, with 22,000 square feet dedicated to caring for some of the tiniest babies ever born. This includes a special area for infants who have undergone transplants and premature babies who need the aid of special machines to help them develop. Click here to learn more.
