Eating Disorder Program

Feature Story on Eating Disorders Courtesy of KESQ News Channel 3

Eating disorders are progressive and debilitating illnesses requiring medical, nutritional and psychological intervention.  An individual suffering from an eating disorder often requires a structured environment to achieve recovery.  At Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, our eating disorder program will provide you or your loved one with the structure and care necessary to improve the individual’s quality of life.

Program description

As a Joint Commission accredited hospital-based outpatient eating disorder program in San Bernardino County, we are committed to providing exemplary care. Our program is designed to provide each individual with insight and positive coping skills to address underlying emotional and psychological issues that perpetuate eating disorder behavior.

By focusing on each patient’s individual needs, values, and goals, our multidisciplinary team of professionals develop a uniquely tailored treatment plan in partnership with the patient.  Adolescents and adults, both male and female, receive expert care from professionals who understand how difficult the healing process can be for individuals struggling with eating disorders.
